White Noise is a study in contrast and balance where nerikomi techniques weave black and white clay together in a quiet rhythm of duality. Checkers, swirls and yin yang patterns are a base for a graphic, contrast-driven aesthetic rooted in balance, form and void. These mugs are for the bold minimalists, the indecisives in flux. The ones who are endlessly shifting through the organic flow and tension between stillness and movement.

Made using the Japanese technique of nerikomi using high quality Australian black and white clays. After clay has been stained with different colours, individual patterns and blocks are created, sliced and laid out into a large slab. This is what each mug has been cut from. Finished with clear glaze. 

Hand built. A little wabi-sabi. Each mug has some variations. You will receive one pictured or similar.
