Pasta bowl made from coloured clays. I spent a lot of time contemplating and testing the perfect bowl. Something that was small enough for breakfast cereal, deep enough for soup and wide enough for a pasta. It also needed to stack well. If I could only use one bowl it would be this shape 🖤

Made using the Japanese technique of nerikomi using high quality Australian white and colour stained clays. After clay has been stained with different colours, individual patterns and blocks are created, sliced and laid out into a large slab.  A little wabi-sabi. Finished with glossy clear glaze.
