Yellow stars with golden brown checkers. This collection makes me think of The Tarot Garden in Tuscany. I've never been but something about the whimsy and magical folk art evokes a playful happy feeling in me.

Made using the Japanese technique of nerikomi using high quality Australian white and colour stained clays. After clay has been stained with different colours, individual patterns and blocks are created, sliced and laid out into a large slab.  A little wabi-sabi. Finished with glossy clear glaze.
